This website (toolkit) has been designed to help new early childhood educators and other staff working in an early childhood education and care setting embed culturally competent practice into their daily practice.
Cultural competence is one of the eight key practices of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). In order to become 'culturally competent' it is important educator's and staff undertake 'ongoing learning and reflective practice' (the fifth practice).
